What happens when a criminal lawyer throws out the old playbook and instead follows a trauma-informed approach? Métis-Cree lawyer Myrna McCallum shares how it all changed the moment she understood that trauma impacted everything: from supporting child survivors of sexual abuse, to advocating for Indigenous justice, to persuading lawyers and judges to do things differently.
